We provide a space for artists of all disciplines to work, create, teach, learn and interact with the community through events, workshops and classes.

These activities are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
At The Artist Sanctuary, we are dedicated to sharing artistic methods that all ages and skill levels are able to learn. From family classes to workplace interactive groups, we are confident each person will be able to create their own masterpiece.
Join us year round for outdoor art experiences that challenge your inner "creative" to push the limits with drawing and painting in various locations.
The Artist Sanctuary is a place where artists can gather and practice, jam, write, compose, perform and share experiences with other artists.
The Artist Sanctuary offers individual and shared studio spaces for daily, weekly, and monthly use. We want to ensure that finances, age, or abilities don't prevent those wishing to have a place to create from having a welcome place to help navigate life through artistic endeavors.
